FAQ
How long do dried flowers last
Dried flowers can last from months to years! The lifespan of your arrangement will completely depend upon the location and environment it is in. Check out our “Caring for your dried arrangement” page.
How to care for dried flowers
For the longest life possible for your flowers, avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading. Keep your arrangement in a dry area, as water makes the stems weak and can encourage mould. For more information head to our “Caring for your dried arrangement” page.
How do you dry flowers
I like to naturally dry stems by bunching and hanging upside down in a dark room away from moisture. If I am aiming for more leaf exposure, I lay the stems flat. This allows the leaves to dry flat against the stem, therefore exposing more of the leaf. This process takes 2 weeks plus, depending upon weather and temperature.
What's the difference between Dried Vs Preserved
Dried flowers have been naturally dried through techniques like hanging. Preserved flowers go through a chemical process resulting in vibrant colours and more flexible foliage.
